WWRI conducts research in accordance with recognized principles for the ethical conduct of research involving human participants. Participation is voluntary and based on informed consent, and participants may withdraw at any time without penalty. We design studies to minimize burden and to treat every participant with respect.
Survey responses are kept confidential, with no personally identifying information collected beyond what the research requires. Data are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, limited to authorized researchers, and reported only in aggregate. WWRI does not sell participant data and retains it only as long as needed for the research.
We're glad to share our approach, instruments, and governing documents.
